Rita is the co-founder and shareholder of the firm.
She officially retired in 2016
Scott is the founder and shareholder of the firm.
He has over 35 years experience in public accounting specializing in small businesses, business consulting, preparation of financial statements and tax return preparation for businesses and individuals.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from West Chester University.
Prior to being in his own public practice he was in private and public accounting specializing in real estate and financial investments. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Scott resides in Harleysville, PA with his wife Debbie and has three adult children, Michael, Alyson and Daniel.
She had over 20 years experience in public accounting specializing in small businesses formation, not-for- profit formation, tax return preparation for businesses, not-for- profits and individuals.
Rita is a Quickbooks Professional Advisor and provides training in Quickbooks.
Rita earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ursinus College. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Skippack, PA with her husband Bill and enjoys spending time with her children and nine grandchildren
Michael Trout Administrator
Stacia Marchese Associate
Mike has been with the firm since 2017. He performs various administrative duties and compliance services for clients including client write-up, bookkeeping, payroll support, payroll taxes and sales tax. He also prepares income tax returns.
In addition, Michael handles all scheduling and appointments, as well as company wide marketing. He built, designed, and maintains the company website and social media channels and writes the company blog and newsletter.
Michael attended La Salle University in Philadelphia for undergraduate studies. There he majored in Business Administration and Communication/Marketing .
During and after university he worked for AT&T Mobility for 8 years. He worked in various positions from Sales Associate, Store Manager, District manager and Business Account Specialist. He currently lives in Phoenixville, Pa.
Stacia has been with the firm since 2010. She performs various compliance services for clients including client write-up, bookkeeping, payroll support, payroll taxes and sales
tax. She also prepares personal tax returns.
Stacia has a Liberal Arts - Social Science Associate degree. She lives in Royersford with her husband Bill and their two children Jack and Lily.
Annette has been with Trout, James & Associates since 2019. She has over 20 years of accounting experience including tax return preparation for business and individuals, and compliance services for clients.
Annette has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, She lives in North Coventry, Pennsylvania with her husband, Tony. She has two adult children Allison and Michael.
Daniel has been an associate of the firm since 2016. He graduated from Souderton Area High School in 2016. He performs various compliance services including individual and corporate tax preparation in addition to Quickbooks write ups. He assists with business formations and small business consulting.
Daniel graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 2020 with a Bachelors of Business Administration, degree in Accounting. Daniel is one of the hosts of The Small Business Experience Podcast.

Ashley Giunta, CPA Associate
Ashley has been at Trout, James & Associates since 2014 and has 10 years of experience in public accounting.
She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers with an internship doing personal
income tax returns.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at St. Joseph’s University and then went to work full time at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Philadelphia.
Throughout her time at PwC she worked with large corporations doing specialty tax projects which included transaction costs analyses, research and development tax credit studies and fixed asset / depreciation analyses. Ashley also spent a large portion of her time at PwC working on income tax provisions which included auditing financial statements and helping her client prepare their income tax provision.
Ashley lives in Lafayette Hill, PA with her husband Michael and two daughters, Alessandra and Francesca,and two sons Mikey & Luca.
Connor has been an associate of the firm since 2021. He performs tax return preparation in addition to small business advisory services and is a host on The Small Business Experience podcast.
Connor earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina in 2020, majoring in Finance and International Business with a minor specialization in Spanish.
Ian joined the Firm in 2021. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2020 with Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and a degree Operations and Supply Chain Management additionally he completed a minor in Business Analytics.
He assists in tax preparation and is a member of our business advisory team. Ian joins Dan and Connor as the hosts of The Small Business Experience Podcast.
